She is still missing. We had a dog tracker come out and follow her scent. It ended in the Gunpowder Lodge parking lot, so we think it's possible someone may have picked her up. We hope we will have her back home soon. Any information will be helpful. Thank you everyone for your help and well wishes!

UPDATE! We received a tip that a dog who looks like Maggie was brought into the PetSmart in Timonium, MD by a lady who said she found her on the side of the road. We are eagerly awaiting additional information. We visited the store, but they have no further information. We have posted signs in the store and general area. If anyone knows someone in the Timonium area who recently found a dog, please let us know. We are offering a reward for her safe return. Please share with your friends in the Timonium area. Thank you!

I'm not sure where Big Gunpowder State Park is but my son just returned from fishing at the Gunpowder in/near Kingsville. He said a hiker stopped to talk to him and said there was what looked like a dog's body in the water. I'm really sorry to be posting this and am praying it's not your dog. My son saw several flyers of a lost dog when he was there - he didn't actually see the dog in the water himself to know if it matched the flyer. He said the location is through the tunnel that goes under Belair Road and down, probably less than a mile down the path. Again, I'm really hoping and praying this is not your pet.

Yes, that was our Maggie. We received a call saying she had been sighted in the water at Gunpowder. We went there, picked her up, and brought her home to be buried. Even though it is heartbreaking, we are glad she is home. We would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to show our appreciation to all of you who have been so supportive, compassionate, and helpful to our family during this past week and a half.

I'm so sorry. I was really hoping it turned out to be a wild animal and not your pet. We lost a dog tragically before and I know how hard it is. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
