Family Cat Missing - Honeybrook Way - Heartbroken :(

Help spread the word about the missing cat on Facebook and Twitter.

Heartbroken family in desperate search for missing cat - Our family just moved to Honeybrook Way in Perry Hall.  Our beloved Skippy who has always been an indoor/outdoors cat was let out on the back porch to mildly explore his new surroundings when a Verizon truck pulled up and spooked him.  He's been missing since Monday morning, April 2.  Unfortunately he has no collar on as his new collar is still packed in a box.. we planned on putting it on him this weekend.  Yet there is an outline in his fur where an older collar used to be.

He's a fantastic, loving cat.  White feets and partial face, tiger stripes throughout.  Anyone who has seen him or just might have him in his possesion please call me @ 469.877.2553.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks - Dawn

He is... Yet we keep receiving calls on him, so have left up various posters throughout the community. He might be along Morning Dove Road . . . Please keep an eye out! Thanks.

I am not sure by any means but I did a cat -- possibly this one - while walking from Perglen Rd. to Pinedale Drive about three weeks ago. It was of similar color and stripes. After years of walking this route it was the only time I saw that cat.
I might advise some posters in that area.

Perglen Cat looks more like a leopard then a tiger. Anyone missing that cat? Been there for a few months I think.

great idea...letting a cat outside who is unfamiliar with his new surroundings and without a collar at that. now this poor cat is left defenseless due to irresponsible owners.

Gregg and Ryan - Thank you for your comments. As any news (or calls) we very much welcome as a family. "tidycat" your cynicism is not appreciated at this time. Not that I need to defend myself to you, yet our family is far from irresponsible. My husband and I firmly believe that a cats mentality and physical well being are linked to the freedom of the outdoors. Of course we are taking chances with longevity, yet our views are that indoor and declawed cats are kept from their natural habitat. We monitored Skippy's first steps outdoors and unfortunately he lost his way with the Verizon Truck pulling up. I was literally looking through the boxes for the collar I purchased him for our new home that afternoon. This cat owned our family more than we owned him, we never would have expected this outcome in a thousand years. It breaks our hearts every day with every call that turns up to be a dead end. My children have their hopes raises each time we dash out the door when someone calls with a possible tip (I think 9 in total). Again we are far from irresponsible, it was a terrible mishap. With that said, thank you to all who have helped and/or called with tips...

Hello Dawn my friend has a cat who desolately needs a loving home. If Skippy doesn't come home or is returned please get in touch with me on Facebook www.facebok.com/sjremeikis. I can't imagine what you all are going through. I would just die if this happened to my cats. So sorry.
