1 Stabbed, 1 Hit By Car At White Marsh Night Club

Police said injuries were not life threatening for two people injured during an incident at a White Marsh night club New Year's Day.

It was a violent start to the year at Sunset Beach Bar & Grill in White Marsh, when one person was stabbed and another hit by a car outside the night club during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Around 2:02 a.m., one person was stabbed at the club in the 11400 block of Pulaski Highway, according to Sgt. Bruce Aris with Baltimore County Police.

Another person was hit by a car, and Aris said the two events appear to be related.

Both people sustained injuries, but those injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, according to Aris.

No one has been charged in connection with the crimes.

Motive for the violence and the identities of the victims were not available Sunday afternoon.

This is not the first stabbing at the club within the past few months.

A Parkville man has been arrested and charged in connection with a Nov. 20 triple stabbing at the same night club, Patch reported.

Back in the day, anything on the east side of Rt. 40 was considered Essex Hon!

Yes, but back in the day, White Marsh was pretty much a clay pit. ;-)

For the Baltimore County Police Department, Pulaski Hwy (Rt. 40) is the dividing line for the Essex and White Marsh precincts. This club is considered in the Essex precinct. http://resources.baltimorecountymd.gov/Images/Police/2006_Images/PD_precinctmap06.jpg

Probably spill over from urban clubs in the inner city coming into the county as has our apartment communities in the essex area where crime is soaring.

I remember when the place first openned years ago. I went to see what it was like. After about 10 mins, I made the decision that it would probably be best to leave due to the overall vibe i got inside. The problem with this club is that it is a prime location to draw down from Edgewood and north from Essex/Middle River. Maybe those places in and of themselves would not be a problem, but when you mix some of the rougher crowds from different areas, there will be problems. I honestly don't know how the place stays open, other than it is sort of away from the community, other than a few houses in Lorely beach.

There's always been trouble at that club no matter what it was called. I believer there was a murder there when it was called Attitudes 3000. I wen there last summer after it shutdown and reopened. I got to the door and saw the riff-raff lined up and turned around an left.

I didn't miss the Crackmore crime stories one bit while I was away this last week

There was another multiple stabbing at Excape Nightclub on Pulaski Hwy (Rt 40) in White Marsh just about 24 hours later on 1/2/2012 around 1:30am. Didn't see this in the news anywhere, however.
