You can almost taste the funnel cake—the annual White Marsh Mall Carnival is just days away.
Mall management confirmed Monday that the parking lot at 8200 Perry Hall Blvd. will host the event April 12-22. Set-up for rides began over Easter weekend.
"There's plenty of rides, games and food for everybody," said Ralph Weiss, a spokesman for Dreamland Amusements, the company running the carnival.
The carnival—open 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and noon to 11 p.m. on weekends—will feature at least 20 rides, games and refreshment booths, according to Weiss.
Admission is $2 for adults and free for children under 10. Wristbands for unlimited rides can be purchased for $25 each (a $5 off coupon is available on Dreamland Amusements' website). Tickets for rides (each ride costs between two and four tickets) will also be sold for $1 each or 50 for $40, he said.
