3 Perry Hall, White Marsh Home Burglaries Reported
Police are investigating any possible connections involving the incidents between Dec. 10 and Dec. 25.
Police are continuing to investigate three home burglaries in the Perry Hall and White Marsh area. Any possible connections between the incidents remain unknown, police said.
Perry Hall
Gunforge Road, 9800 block. Between 12 a.m. Dec. 10 and 12:30 p.m. Dec. 19. By standing on a trash can, a person attempted to pry open a window screen and broke part of the window. Another window screen was torn and a basement storm door was propped open. Nothing was taken from the home, but damage totaled about $1,000, according to a police report.
Plumer Avenue, 4300 block. Between noon and 2:30 p.m. Dec. 21. A person broke a window next to the front door of the home, put a dog in a back room and stole a Samsung Galaxy tablet, an iPod Touch, an iPod dock, two televisions and jewelry—representing a total loss of about $8,830, a police report shows.
White Marsh
Cullum Avenue, 5600 block. Between 3:30 p.m. Dec. 24 and 5:15 p.m Dec. 25. A person broke glass near the front door of the home and removed a bass guitar, an acoustic guitar, a television and a drill—representing a total loss of about $1,500, according to a police report.
Police urge community members to report any suspicious behavior in their neighborhoods by calling 911 immediately.

It's no longer just an occasional report, not only does this alarming article point this out, but to look on the right in the "see more on Patch" extra, there are five more recent stories of local burglaries.

..And people are stealing tools/equpiment off of work trucks on Southfield Road in Nottingham (we have to park there b/c our condo won't allow work trucks to park on our own parking lot, which we pay for!) Ridiculous in all ways!

Gotta love homeowners/condo associations. Paying dues for a home you already paid- usually hundreds of dollars a year- for what? To overpay for having the lawn mowed. Not this guy. Its a scam of epic proportions.

Agreed Kris! If only you were President of our association! Oh and I sure did not see anyone out on our sidewalks salting them the other day! And to top that off they just went up for 2013 - for what?!, haha lucky me! :(

As always with the condo/homeowners associations there are no surprises. You got the HOA documents and by-laws before you purchased and you voluntarily agreed to abide by the terms. Now you don't like the terms of the agreement you signed.
Run for office and change the by-laws.

Ok FIFA haha.. Can't a girl vent?! Believe me.. my condo association "says" they will do many things and they never do. I knew what I was dealing with when I bought the place but if I pay those fees, which are raised in 2013, then they better raise their priorities and get our neighborhood together!

You can add my house in White Marsh to this story. Burglarized on 12/20/12. It keeps adding up as we find more things missing, but we are well over a $4k loss. Time to get the security system!

I have a few questions? Why would you put the time of day it happened, the way they got into the home, and also what was stolen and the worth of all of it? I really would like to know why you would give the location of the home with a MAP ! My home was violated and now you have violated my privacy! I'm all for the community knowing what is happening around us, but all the details can hurt people that have already been hurt enough. Thanks so much Perry Hall Patch ! Talk about adding insult to injury.

How else are people going to help Sandy or should people just guess? I didn't see any info stating which house it was. A "block" is rather large set of numbers. The more details the more chances something with trigger a memory. Perhaps you would prefer they don't mention it at all and say tough luck? End of story. What does that do? Neighbors should be neighbors and help one another.
