I hope everyone survives this accident. It's getting "REALLY" bad out there.
Tons of people running red lights and speeding. Everyone's in a BIG, BIG hurry.....
to kill themselves or someone else.

I wish people would take driving a " 3000 lbs. weapon just a "LITTLE more seriously.
But, ain't gonna happen. Gotta send that REALLY important text message that I just
picked up a 6-pak of Coke .....or some other stupid message.

I am praying for the woman in the suv and her family. The people as well as myself rush to her and i as well as the rest of us did the best we could to help her befor the emts could take over . But as for Maryland State Police ?????? Whats the deal are you guys always jerks to people helping out for example when i was holding the 2 cars doors open to help get the ladys niece out of the car snd to help a gentalman down into the s u v to help the driver who was not in great shape he wants my i.d. Cause i refused to move my car which was already on the shoulder . dont you have a speed trap to set up on a side road that already has speed humps really you guys are not. Very good. from what l see you have got to stop acting like you are so much better than anyone else and you should of took a look at the baltimore county police. They were profesinals. M.s.p. You need to get your attitudes checked at the door when you punch in you are really sad.

That trooper was terrible! We stopped too and my husband jumped out and ran over to help. (did you have the VW? If so, my husband is the one that moved it for you) I wanted to slap all the ignorant people that just drove then the scene like nothing was there. I sat in the truck with my son my heart skipped a beat when I saw them pull a car seat out.

60% of all people don't use their blinkers. Don't know about you, but I want people to know my intention. It is so easy to do. people are rude and selfish, with a "me first" attitude. I am lucky to have a perfect driving record and want to keep it that way.

Definitely scary on the roads - I watch people texting, putting on make-up, reading the newspaper ... Etc all the time during my am commute. I have a four way stop by my house that people run all the time. Just got my vehicle fixed after being hit by an uninsured motorist. All I can say is keep your head up and eyes open if you want to survive. Anticipate people doing stupid things on the road - they probably will! Driving around here SUCKS!

Wilson - you clearly weren't there. You go on all these posting saying everyone is a punk. You're the biggest punk!! I'm not sure who gave you such a terrible outlook on life and the kindness of strangers but I pray that one day your life never hangs on someone who decides they're too busy to stop and help you.

In the end, the victims and God know the truth, and that's what matters.

My husband and I were going in the opposite direction down rt 40, heading home from the grocery store with our 4 yr old in the truck. If that SUV had crossed that median, we were in the line to hit. Our guardian angel was watching over us to keep our family safe.

Jason, it's all good. I used to own a pizza shop on belair road and there were always accidents there, however, there was one horrific accident that occurred that broke my heart and I still have nightmares today. I ran out of my shop to do all I could for the man, but unfortunately he died. I commend anyone who is willing to stop and help others when an accident occurs, instead of rubber nicking, and taking a chance of causing another accident. You just have to ignore people like Wilson who are just miserable people. I hope everyone makes a speedy recovery.

Was there really an accident at Route 40 and ebenezer road at 2:30 pm yesterday? Because I find it very odd how there could be a multiple vehicle accident here at the exact same time that there is a multi-vehicle accident on I-95 near exit 67. And if you have any info on the 95 accident it would be greatly appreciated.

Two separate accidents Ryan, see article from PATCH on Saturday, May 26. Seems like between BEL AIR, WHITE MARSH, and PERRY HALL. there is a serious accident almost every day. Makes you not want to get out and drive any more.
UPDATE (12:37 p.m.)—A two-vehicle accident near the MD 43, White Marsh Boulevard exit closed one northbound lane and far-left shoulder along Interstate 95, around 12:20 p.m. Saturday, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation's website on traffic conditions.

Delays are expected.

Check traffic conditions here on Patch, by using the map attached to this article, or by clicking Commute at the top of the homepage.

What routes do you use to avoid I-95 traffic? Tell us in the comments.

Yes. I know that. There was an accident in White Marsh/Fallston area on Saturday. But I am talking about Sunday. On Sunday there was an accident at White Marsh and 95 around 2:30 pm. I know that one was there because we drove past it, but I have not been able to find any information regarding that accident.

My husband were stopped at the light at Bel Air & Silver Spring next to a police car. The officer started talking on her cell phone, not hands free, and when she was done that call started using her computer then talking gain. When the light turned green instead of going straight like she was suposed to she turned right almost hitting a car in the lane to turn right. She did not have her siren or lights on. My husband got all the information off her car and we went to the White Marsh police station to report her. I was told that police can do anything they want while on duty and are protected by a law, don't remember what one. I found it intresting that it is okay for a cop to talk on a cell phone and to make illegal turns and to type on her computer. Since then I have watched cop cars and it is okay for them to speed, even when not responding to a call. It is okay for them to run red lights, even when not responding to a call. Something needs to be done about this. If a cop can do it why can't I?? Now I remember I OBEY the law. Also these cops that take advantage are making a bad name for police and there are good police officers out there.
I hope everyone involved in the accident makes full recoveries and thank you to the people that stopped and helped.

I hope you just got your license or haven't been driving long... You just now realized all this? I'm being a bit of a cynic, but there is some truth in the actions she points out.

My father was a police officer and he always emphasized to me that he felt he was a role model, especially when driving. His view was that if the people whose job it is to enforce laws can't (or won't) obey the laws, they ought to be in another line of work.
