Snow Cancels Baltimore County After-school, Evening Activities
Officials announced the cancellation due to inclement weather on Wednesday afternoon.
All Baltimore County schools after-school and evening activities are cancelled Wednesday due to inclement weather, according to the schools website.
The National Weather Service reports snowfall through the afternoon, accumulating to less than an inch and continuing into the evening with temperatures in the mid-30s. Temperatures are expected to reach the 40s by Thursday with sunshine.

Two years ago today we were getting pounded by a second blizzard in 3 days. I'll take the inch over that, but think the schools

And when little Johnny slips and falls because he had to stay after school, his parents will sue the school system because they didn't do enough to protect their little angel. Then a jury of their peers, Perry Hall folks included, will award them millions in damages because little Johnny was in grave danger.

and I don't agree/approve with/of this either.
All I'm saying is this chronic overreaction never happened to most (all?) of us growing up. We went to school unless there was 6 + inches either on the ground, or coming for certain.
