It's just about turkey time, but how much are you willing to spend on this year's Thanksgiving bird?
Expect turkey prices to be slightly higher this year, reports the American Farm Bureau Federation, rising from $21.57 to $22.23 for the average 16-pound turkey. The 66-cent price increase is attributed to a slight rise in demand, rather than a supply shortage.
For most American families, the turkey remains the main attraction and most expensive part of the meal, according to the AFBF.

I think Giant has a deal where you get 300 gas points if you buy a turkey - there is a coupon. We are making a turkey from spam - I will sculpt it.

I also shop at Mars because they are family oriented with their customers and employees. Mars will be closed on Thanksgiving Day so their employees can celebrate the entire day with family. I think this speaks volumes of the kind of business I want to patronize.

They are so cheap because they are anti-Union. Its pitiful that they don't have a bulletin board in their store for Community Organization information. They told me it was because if they let non political/non partisan Community Organizations post notices they "will have to let unions also post on that bulletin board."
Even though the turkeys cost more at other stores I will not be shopping at Mars.
