Conowingo Dam Work to Cause Route 1 Delays
Expect delays in northern Harford County on Thursday, Oct. 11.

Work on the Conowingo Dam will cause traffic delays on Route 1 Thursday between Shures Landing Road and Route 222, according to Explore Harford.
Lanes will be closed in both directions for 15 to 20-minute intervals as crews move the gates of the dam from the Conowingo Dam Visitor Center parking lot to the Conowingo Dam, CecilDaily.com reported.
The gates were moved in late March for routine maintenance, The Baltimore Sun reported.
Delays may occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, according to Explore Harford.
