Drive-thru ATM Customer Robbed at Gunpoint
As the suspect fled a Wachovia Bank on Belair Road, he may have been hit by the victim's car.
Baltimore County police are searching for a suspect who robbed a drive-through ATM on Belair Road this week and who may have been hit by the victim's car following the crime.
At about 9 p.m. on Wednesday, a black male in his late 20s, wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and a dark blue ski mask, approached a car outside of the Wachovia Bank drive-through ATM on the 8800-block of Belair Road in Perry Hall, according to police.
The suspect threatened the driver with a handgun and demanded money. After stealing money, the suspect walked behind the bank. Meanwhile, the victim backed up his car, striking a retaining wall and possibly the suspect.
Police said the suspect is believe to have fled east toward Verdel Road.
Police were unable to locate the suspect and are continuing the investigation.
