Ebenezer Road Accident Leaves Woman Hospitalized
The three-vehicle crash happened around 8 a.m. Tuesday.
One woman was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital after she was injured in an accident near Perry Hall High School Tuesday morning, according to Baltimore County police.
The woman was the driver of a white Toyota Rav4 that overturned after a collision involving two other vehicles around 8 a.m on Ebenezer Road.
Details as to how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but the two other vehicles involved in the accident—a Honda Accord and a Chevrolet Equinox—sustained rear and front-end damage respectively, according to police spokeswoman Elise Armacost.
The Rav4 was overturned and the driver was trapped inside.

hmmm near where the speed camera is. I'll be curious as to the cause of this accident.
I hope the person badly injured makes a full and speedy recovery. The article makes it sound like she was unfortunate collateral damage.

There was another serious collision in Kingsville this morning around 6:30am in the 11,600 block of Belair Rd, between Cheryl Ave and Longfield Dr. There were reports of several vehicles involved with one trapped, BGE requested for poles/wires down, and a MD State Police Medevac helicopter to transport one patient.

Mark, THANKS! I was curious what happened about 6:30, I just heard siren after siren, and when I drove through Kingsville this morning, BGE was reparing the poles/wires. Must have been a terrible accident.

It was bad this morning. :-/ I was surprised honestly to see something about this accident and not the one on Bel Air Rd.

Maybe it's because everyone is in a hurry and wants to do 90mph to get to work. My all time favorite is driving on the beltway and watching someone come from the left lane all the way over to the right at the very last second to get off on their exit. People have become rude and inconsiderate. There should never be a reason for the beltway to be backed up, but again people driving like idiots, then cause an accident, therefore backing up the beltway causing everyone to be late for work and worse the person who causes the accident may end up losing there life, or taking someone else's. People please get your selfish heads out of your asses and grow up. The accident on Ebenezer blows my mind. You have to be going awfully fast to flip over a vehicle, especially a fav4 which is a fairly small vehicle for a "suv". I say let them put the camera in, they won't be getting my money. Ah duh! We know where it will be, so use your head and don't let the loser politicians and government collect our hard earned money. I'm sick of all of this crap. To the woman who was injured, I wish you the best and hope you have a speedy recovery. I could go on, but i don't want to make anyone mad.

You don't seem to know very much about basic physics.
You don't have to be going that fast to flip a vehicle, especially an SUV. Even if it's a small one, it's still top heavy. For all you know this person could have sharply turned to try and avoid the other cars involved. Jeeps are "small" SUV type vehicles too and they flip incredibly easy. It's why they come standard with a roll cage.
As for the Beltway, that gets backed up because of the AMOUNT of people on it. As any road will when it has a high traffic flow. People need to slow down to accommodate people trying to merge, people trying to get off, etc. which causes a chain reaction of slowing down. That's just common sense.

Ashley, not to correct your or anyone's driving habits. But Confucious (also Driver Ed instructors) says, slowing to allow people to merge is dangerous unless unavoidable. Slowing from the main lanes before entering the merge lane is also dangerous, but at times unavoidable. Merge lanes are also known as acceleration and deceleration lanes for a reason.

I'm not saying it's how things should be done, just how it is. I agree, it's incredibly dangerous, but that's what people do none the less.
