Editor's Notes: Perry Hall Patch Editor in Recovery

Emily Kimball has been on medical leave since Monday morning.

Hello readers,

You may have noticed that Perry Hall Patch has been less active than usual this week.

On Monday morning, I was involved in an accident where I fell down a flight of stairs in my home. I received several injuries, but fortunately did not break any bones. Between the skilled paramedics of Perry Hall's Baltimore County Fire Station 55 and the team at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, I'm already on the mend and anticipating a full recovery (hoping to have the neck brace removed) by the beginning of next week.

I've been extremely well taken care of by my family, my fiance (I very happily got engaged on July 27), Patch management, coworkers and friends. Thanks all for your help!

I apologize that I have not been responsive to emails and voicemails since the accident.

In case of breaking news in the Perry Hall area, please contact Associate Regional Editor Sean Welsh at sean.welsh@patch.com or Senior Regional Editor Doug Donovan at doug@patch.com.

Thank you all for your understanding!

Emily,
Stop staring at that engagement ring while walking down the stairs!

May I suggest FLATS for the wedding gown shoes ;-)
(Must be a heavy ring to pull you down the stairs!)

Emily - I hope you are healing quickly! Please let Scott and me know if you need anything (seriously!), and please get better quickly! Take a vacation, too, after you're done healing - you deserve it!

On a brighter note, congratulations on getting engaged!! He's an extremely lucky guy! I'm so happy for you! (And I hope he lives in Perry Hall too... no moving, ok?) :)
