Father's Day is this Sunday. Buying a gift for dad can sometimes be a challenge, but it really depends on what type of dad you have.

I'd consider a stretch,considering:
1) some religons disavow drinking
2) alcoholism is (or was) a serious issue with many families
Really, it is the fact that Jennifer didn't really see the bigger picture there when posting a blog and headline photo that was intended for macro consumption. Just questionable judgement.

You really need a hobby, she isn't forcing you or anybody to drink. I am sorry for those who have a problem with alcohol, but that does not mean that I ( or millions of others) can't or shouldn't enjoy it. It isn't going to simply vanish because you don't like it. Lighten up. The only questionable judgement is those who project their own personal issues onto the rest of humanity. If one has a physical, mental, religious or philosophical issue with alcohol ( or anything else for that matter) it isn't the job of the rest of the world to avoid talking about it. It's your problem, deal with it.

Just to clarify: First, this is a feature article, not a blog, that I requested Jennifer put together for Father's Day. I think she did a great job. Secondly, I edited it and decided to put the photo of the wine selection as the featured photo. I understand that alcohol carries a stigma for some people, but that certainly does not keep Perry Hall Patch from listing liquor stores in our directory or posting notices about wine tasting events or, in a light holiday piece, suggesting that a bottle of wine may be an appropriate gift for a "Wine Connoisseur Dad." I apologize to anyone who found this offensive. Photos from other mentioned businesses were also posted in the photo gallery. The feature photo is now a "#1 Dad" coffee mug.
