A fire severely damaged a vacant home near Harford Road and Sunshine Avenue, north of Kingsville, early Monday morning.

Firefighters responded to several calls about a fire at a single-family home on the 12000 block of Regwood Road in Fork, shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 26, according to a Baltimore County Fire Department report. 

The fire caused a partial collapse of the home, the report stated.

One firefighter was transported from the scene by ambulance with abdominal pains, according to the report.

No further information was available late Monday.
