I am proud of the Perry Hall Gators football team. They had a great season and in every game they never gave up. Last night was not there best effort in the first half but they never gave up and showed how much pride thye had for themselves and the school. I am proud of each and every member of the team and coaching staff for a great year. There theme all year was they are a family and I feel the same way about them, the pain will go away and you will realize in time what you accomplished in time and enjoy it. Just remember if you need a shoulder to lean on now I am here and I think I can say for all the fans, students and parents of your team we are very proud of all your efforts.

If turn about is fair play, then this is where the legions of parents from Poly are supposed to post hundreds of comments about Perry Hall being sore losers! But, I'll bet Poly has more class than that! Haha, sucks to have it happen to you Perry Hall, doesn't it?

@ Beares I wasn't there, but it sounds ugly based on the above description. I'm not surprised by the above actions by the home team band...that's why playing at home is a big advantage. Sometimes the ugly side of sports comes out especially in the playoffs. Thanks for letting people know about what you saw.

I still believe there are school/organizations that have class at every level from fans to bands to players to coaches.. that's why I didn't say always.

I was at the game and I feel that we as PH fans were treated better last night than last week at Hereford.Home field is home field. They used it to there advantage .I saw several PH parents applauding the band.They were good but not as good as PH's.Go Gators.Cannot wait till next year.To the seniors good luck with all you do

Face the players on the field win games not bands! let the kids play enough of the politically correct bull! Next you will ban Santa from Baltimore County! Yes it was inappropriate for Poly to have the band sit in the visitors section and play everytime Perry Hall had the ball. But anyone who knows anything about football will tell you when you have home field advantage you take any advantage you can. It may not be right but that is not the reason Perry Hall's football team lost the game. They came out flat and once they fell behind to a good Poly team it was going to be difficult to catch up. ALL Perry Hall football parents, family and fans should be proud of the team and what they accomplished this year. That is the real story! It's about the efforts of the young men and what they accomplished this year. Stop the crying about another teams band and be proud of YOUR TEAM and thank every young man on the team for a great year. I for one and thankful for there efforts and all the enjoyment thet gave me this year. THANKS GATOR FOOTBALL TEAM! You are still NO. #1 with me. Jack

I was in attendance at the game and feel that it is necessary to address these inaccuracies. If ever in attendance at any Poly football contest, the band sat where the band always sits. Is it a challenge to have one sided seating for both the home team and visitors perhaps but this is nothing new. It is open seating people and the fans had a choice of where they sat. Are there cultural or generational differences in regards to the bands music selections or routine choices? Perhaps but to attack them and call them "lewd" is a bit much. It was also reported that several Perry Hall fans used profanity in addressing the students and the band staff, if that is the County class you are referring to....spare us! The main event was the football game and although lopsided, the players were not disadvantaged due to the band. Fans could have contacted one of the many police officers if they had a problem they could not handle. Continue to take the elitist perch and attack City students because you don't approve of the manner in which they show spirit and support for their team.
