1. The Avenue at White Marsh 14th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
- Where/When: The Avenue at White Marsh, 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 18
- Why Go: Kick off the holiday season with The Shades of Blue Orchestra and giveaways for children. Santa will arrive at 7 p.m. to light the 35-foot tree. A screening of "A Christmas Story" will begin at 8:30 p.m.
- Pricing: Free
2. Perry Hall High School Theater Department presents "Much Ado About Nothing"
- Where/When: Perry Hall High School at 7 p.m. Nov. 18-19 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 20
- Why Go: Students have been hard at work preparing their rendition of one of Shakespeare's best loved romantic comedies.
- Pricing: $7
3. Holiday Open House and Trollbeads Trunk Show at Carlyn Smith Creations
- Where/When: Carlyn Smith Creations, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Nov. 19
- Why Go: Raffles and refreshments will be available all day and the first 50 customers receive a gift bag with purchase.
- Pricing: Free
4. Bill Bateman's Bar Olympics
- Where/When: Bill Bateman's Bistro, 9 p.m. on Nov. 19
- Why Go: Teams will compete in beer pong, flip cup, team chug and a big wheel course. Grand prize for the winning team includes $200, a photo on our wall and a trophy.
- Pricing: Free
5. Perry Hall Florist 25th Annual Holiday Open House
- Where/When: Sanners Perry Hall Florist, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 20
- Why Go: Browse flower arrangements, listen to holiday music and enjoy some homemade cookies.
- Pricing: Free
6. Christmas in Perry Hall Craft Show
- Where/When: Gerst Road, daily until Nov. 27 (except Thanksgiving), noon-5 p.m. on Sundays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m on Saturdays and Mondays
- Why Go: Sixty local vendors, carrying everything from etched glass to homemade blankets to Ravens gear, are participating.
- Pricing: Free
7. Visit Santa at White Marsh Mall
- Where/When: White Marsh Mall, daily until Dec. 24
- Why Go: Located at White Marsh Mall's Santastic Set, children may visit with Santa, leave a note in the Magical Mailbox and check the Naughty or Nice Meter.
- Pricing: Free

My family goes to the Tree Lighting every year, wouldn't miss it! If its not TOO cold, we may even stay for part of the movie. And I'm sure we'll make a stop at the Craft Fair. My daughter likes to get her Christmas gifts for others there.
