GET OUT: Weekend Easter Egg Hunts

Looking for somewhere to take your child on an Easter egg hunt? Look no further.

 

Remember celebrating Easter as a child and going to neighborhood egg hunts? If you would like to give your child the same experience, you'll find plenty of opportunities this Saturday.

1. Camp Chapel United Methodist Church Easter Egg Hunt

When/Where: Saturday, 1 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

Why Go: Children do crafts while the eggs are being hidden. Then they are let loose to find as many eggs as they can. Prizes will be awarded to children who find the "winning " eggs. The hunt is followed by a snack.

Pricing: Please bring a dozen filled plastic eggs per child and a snack to share with the group.

2. Perry Hall Baptist Easter Egg Hunt

When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon, 3919 Schroeder Ave.

Why Go: In addition to an egg hunt, there will be food, crafts and games. All are welcome.

Pricing: Free

3. Grace Community Church Easter Egg Hunt

When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon, 11611 Belair Rd.

Why Go: The egg hunt is for children 2-9. There will be great prizes.

Pricing: Free

4. Perry Hall Presbyterian Church Easter Egg Hunt

When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m., 8848 Belair Rd.

Why Go: Children can hunt for eggs all over the church grounds.

Pricing: Free

5. Fork Christian Church Easter Egg Hunt

When/Where: Saturday, 2 p.m., 6809 Sunshine Ave.

Why Go: Enjoy an Easter egg hunt with prizes.

Pricing: Free

6. Hubers Farm Easter Egg Hunt

When/Where: Saturday, 1 to 3 p.m., 11898 Philadelphia Rd.

Why Go: There will be two hunts—one starting at 1 p.m. and the second at 2 p.m. Two separate fields will be used for hunting as well—one for children ages 1-4 and the other for children ages 5-13. Hunters should bring their own baskets. The golden egg brings a special prize. Parents can also have children's picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Hot dogs and other refreshments will be available for purchase.

Pricing: $2 per child includes the Easter egg hunt and entrance to the activity area.
