Hammer-Wielding Vandal Attacks Kingsville Home

Police are investigating the break-in on Silver Spruce Terrace.

An unknown vandal used a hammer to cause significant damage to a Kingsville home, police said.

Between 2 p.m. on Nov. 9 and 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 10, in the 11700 block of Silver Spruce Terrace, a rear glass door was broken with a hammer. Inside the home, a hammer was used to punch holes in the drywall, to damage a washer and to break multiple windows, according to a police report.

Nothing was taken from the home, the report showed.

The home is owned by a company and did not appear to be lived in at the time of the break-in, according to Ron Brooks of the White Marsh police precinct.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing, Brooks said.

As I have said our police department are first responders. We the people must be the eyes and ears of our community. If you see something strange or odd - call the first responders, they are happy to follow up on community calls.
