How Much Money Do Perry Hallers Have Saved?

Nearly a third of Americans have no emergency savings, and nearly half don't have enough saved to cover three months of expenses, CNNMoney reports.

But how does Perry Hall compare?

Are members of our community living paycheck to paycheck, or squirreling away for a rainy day?

The lack of savings is attributed to stagnant incomes in a still-struggling economy. Still, having enough cash to cover six months of expenses is highly recommended by experts, the article stated.

It is a tricky equation of savings plus retirement plus what the dollar is REALLY worth plus never-ending future inflation minus housing boom to bust loss for me minus car worth now that it is off the lot minus education debt and its future compounding interest rate minus soon-to-be higher taxes minus my haircut this week.
