The Baltimore Humane Society supports lost and abandoned animals in our region. It is up to us to support their life-saving efforts, so they can continue to help some of the most vulnerable members of our community. In this season of giving and all year through, please remember the fine work of BHS.
Get to know another BHS resident with Miley the cat's fourth letter to Santa.
My last letter of the season is for my friend Wyatt. Wyatt has seen so much heartbreak and trauma in his short time on this earth. He was found in the city, with a broken knee and bite marks all over his young body. But his knee has since repaired and the bites have healed. He is now ready for a home with someone who will show him what kindness is.
Wyatt wants so much to love a person and gets very excited when someone comes to see him. Despite all that his last person did to hurt him, he still trusts people and wants so much to be loved.
At just 2 years old, he is ready to put the past behind him and make a brand new start. Santa, Wyatt really deserves a special person who will not let him down. Really, all of the animals here at BHS deserve a loving home. They did not choose to be homeless and alone. They are not broken or unworthy. They are wonderful, loving, silly pets who want nothing more than a home for the holidays and every day after.
Thank you for reading my letters and Merry Christmas.
