Meet Perry Hall Library's New Branch Manager

Cindy Kleback is the woman behind the badge at the Perry Hall branch.

The Baltimore County Public Library announced Tuesday that the Perry Hall Library's new branch manager is Cindy Kleback.

Kleback has 15 years of experience in public, academic and school libraries, according to a blurb in the Friends of the Perry Hall Library's spring newsletter.

"Cindy always says the best thing about working in a public library is that no day is ever the same," stated Friends of the Perry Hall Library.

For nine years before coming to the Perry Hall branch, Kleback worked at Enoch Pratt Free Library in Baltimore City, according to a press release.

Since Highlandtown's Southeast Anchor Library opened in 2007, Kleback has been the branch manager there, Baltimore County Public Library reported. She also worked in the Patterson Park, Canton and Herring Run branches.

According to the press release, Kleback established the adult summer reading program at Pratt and conducted community outreach, including through social media.

Kleback holds a master's degree in information resources and library science from University of Arizona. Her bachelor's degree is in political science/international relations from the University of West Florida.

The Friends of the Perry Hall Library said she is interested in pop culture, movies and "all things pirate and zombie."
