UPDATE: 3 Injured in Perry Hall School Bus Accident
A school bus and two other vehicles were involved in the accident at around 6:45 a.m. Wednesday.
UPDATE (Nov. 10, 2:33 p.m.)—A school bus and two other vehicles were involved in an accident near the intersection of Silver Spring Road and Honeygo Boulevard at about 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, police confirmed.
Three people were transported to Franklin Square Hospital Center with minor injuries, including a 70-year-old woman, 8-year-old girl and 17-year-old girl, said Baltimore County police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher Thursday afternoon.
Further information on the cause of the accident was not yet available, Rogers-Feher said.
Patch reported on another school bus accident along Silver Spring and Perry Hall Boulevard last December. Traffic calming measures, including possible speed bumps, on Silver Spring were announced by County Councilman David Marks this week.
Is the Silver Spring Road and Honeygo Boulevard intersection safe? Tell us in the comments.

Now that the Silver Spring/ Honeygo intersection has been "improved" it really could use a right turn arrow now in the right hand side of the west bound lane of Silver Spring... OR both sides need to have green arrows at the same time. I have pulled out to make a right on red and have been nearly plowed over by the opposing left handed turner. They have the right of way, obviously, but there is no way to know if it is safe to turn right on red.
Also people need to just slooow down. One road is 35mph, the other 40. It's like the Grand Prix through there some mornings.

I'm constantly amazed by the questions posed by the author. I don't see them on any other patch

I picked one other local Patch at random (North Baltimore) and the lead story asked: "Why do you participate in neighborhood citizen on patrol walks? Tell us in the comments." I didn't check other towns, but I am guessing that it would only take a minute or less to find other stories that posed questions.
It's just a hook to stimulate readers to respond, thus growing the amount of content and increasing marketing values. If Patch/AOL thought you would just want to read a few local stories in black and white, no nonsense, they wouldn't have given you the option to create an account and leave feedback. I don't think the questions posed by the author take anything away from her reporting abilities. Leave a comment or don't, but don't slam someone who is just doing her job.

I think another bad intersection is Honeygo and Beaconsfield! I thought that since they put a turn arrow at Silver SPring and Honeygo they might put one at Honeygo and Beaconsfield! This is at the corner where 7-11/Casa Mia's is! Scary intersection. Also now, I noticed this morning when taking my daughter to Perry Hall Middle School, it looks like the traffic gets backed up on Honeygo now towards Ebenezer, because of the new turn arrow at the intersection of Honeygo and Silver Spring. In addition, another bad time is rush hour at 5-6 or so in the evening, traffic backs up on Honeygo going towards Ebenezer, and then people coming from Beaconsfield can't get on to Honeygo - seems like a no-win situation! Hope something changes!

I have to turn from Beaconsfield onto Honeygo every morning. It's always backed up. Half of the time, it takes 2-3 revolutions before I can even turn onto Honeygo because people are sitting in the intersection and/or the light at 43 is red and traffic is backed up past Silver Spring...
