Nov. 15: Perry Hall Middle To Trot for Turkeys
Winners of the annual race are awarded turkeys.
On Nov. 10, about 1,500 tween-age students competed in Perry Hall Middle School's annual Turkey Trot. In this photo, hundreds of seventh-grade boys launch from the starting line. Each boy is splashed with a mixture of golden sunlight and blue shadows.

Find out on Thursday during Perry Hall Middle School's annual Turkey Trot.
Between 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 15, students will run a mile-long race around the school's grounds. The top 10 girls and boys from each grade level will win a T-shirt and the first-place winners in each group will win a turkey. Parents often attend, and sometimes join in the run, to cheer on their kids.
