Perry Hall Crime: Home Break-In; Grill, Bike Stolen
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.
Cross Road, 9500 block. 1:23 a.m. on Oct. 10. A homeowner heard rattling in her yard and discovered that her outdoor grill, valued at $180, had been stolen.
Soth Avenue, 4300 block. Between 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 9 and 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 9. Burglars attempted to pry open a basement door, but were unsuccessful. They kicked in the front door, entered the home and rummaged through a dresser. Nothing was taken. The burglars caused about $1,000 in damage to the home. The investigation is ongoing.
Fox Hill Drive, 9900 block. Between 9 a.m. on Oct. 1 and 4 p.m. on Oct. 5. An unsecured red Schwinn bicycle and black bicycle helmet, valued at a total of $120, were stolen from a front porch.

The bike was probably stolen because the thief missed his bus back to the city. At least he/she used a helmet. Safety first!
