These Perry Hall dads have plenty to be proud of. Their adoring children recently honored them during the Friends of the Perry Hall Library's biannual Father's Day essay contest.

Winning students read essays about what makes their fathers special during a reception at the Perry Hall Library on June 2. In return, they received prizes from local businesses, according to Friends board members Harry and Kathaleen Quinn.

Special thanks to the Friends for submitting photos from the event.

Each year, the library advocacy group alternates between a Father's Day and a Mother's Day essay contest. Check out photos from last year's event here.
