Perry Hall Health Food Store To Open Mid-August
Owners plan to move Nature's Fresh from its White Marsh location.
After four years in operation, Nature's Fresh has outgrown its White Marsh location. By mid-August, the owners plan to move the independently-owned health food store to a new location on Belair Road in Perry Hall.
"People are getting excited about it," co-owner Lisa Correlli said. "A lot of customers say they'll be even closer to us."
The business's current location at 11550 Philadelphia Rd. offers about 2,400 square feet of space. The new location at 9659 Belair Rd., a free-standing structure that previously held Bay Home Title, offers 3,200 square feet.
The additional footage will allow for a wider selection of groceries, pet food, supplements and beauty products. The store will continue to specialize in organic, natural, gluten-free and wellness-related products, Correlli said.
"There really is nothing else in the area like this. You have to go to Towson or Bel Air to find something similar," she said.
But customers should resist the urge to compare it to larger chains like Whole Foods and Trader Joe's. "It has a flavor of its own," she said.
Currently, only one employee works with Correlli and her co-owner husband, Domenic.
"After everything gets moved in, we hope to hire more," she said.

I enjoyed the store at the old location. The service is friendly. When so many places are failing, its good to see someone on the rise. Best wishes for their success.

I think they are a bit pricier than Whole Foods and Trader Joe's and have much less of a selection. I ventured into their store on Philadelphia Road and was pretty disappointed.

even if you are correct, Sue, it's nice to see something open besides something we already have too many of to begin with.
This is a 33% larger space then they were in before, I suspect they'll at least attempt to put it to good use.

While I would like little better than to have a Trader Joe's near by, Whole Foods tends to be pretty expensive. Hopefully this venue will allow for more selection, as they say it will and maybe the location will bring more shoppers which could drive the prices down? Here is to hoping. We really need a store of this kind in the community.

Super excited. I didn't notice this store opening until I started driving my son to school. Thrilled it's so close to home. I am the person that has been driving to Towson for years. I will for sure be a regular customer. I would rather give my money to the small business owner. Continued success!

wait so this is actually open?
I saw this place last weekend and it still looked closed/not ready for opening. I believe the sign still said "Coming Soon"
