Perry Hall Improvement Association Releases Summer Newsletter
The community organization's latest seasonal newsletter is packed with local information.
The Perry Hall Improvement Association has released its summer newsletter with information about local events and programs.
The full newsletter can be found in the media gallery or by clicking on this link. It includes the following statement from Dennis M. Robinson, Jr., PHIA president:
Greetings Neighbors!
After several informative meetings, including updates from our County Council representatives, a presentation by a representative of the Baltimore County
Department of Planning, and a legislative session summary from our legislators
in Annapolis, the PHIA will be on its usual summer break until we resume
monthly meetings in September.I would like to congratulate the students of our area schools for completing another academic year, especially those who have graduated from high school
or college. I frequently hear about the many successful students we have in Perry Hall and know that our community has countless reasons to be optimistic about the future. Now that school is out, many people will be traveling and spending time with their families. Please remember that more children are likely to be playing outdoors. We should all make a conscious effort to slow down when driving through our neighborhoods.
In an effort to communicate with even more of our neighbors, the PHIA created a Facebook page. If you are on Facebook, please “like” the Perry Hall Improvement Association page to receive information about community news and events.
Our September meeting will feature Comptroller Peter Franchot, who will provide information about the role of the Office of the Comptroller and
answer questions. In October, Congressman Andy Harris will be our guest speaker and will provide an update on national issues that have a local impact.
Please make plans to attend the upcoming PHIA meetings. In the meantime,
I hope everyone has a happy and relaxing summer.See you around Perry Hall!
Dennis M. Robinson, Jr., President, Perry Hall Improvement Association
