Perry Hall, Kingsville Crime: Bike, Jewelry, Tools Stolen
Property was stolen in three incidents between July 4 and July 14, police said.
Police are investigating a theft and two burglaries recently reported in the Perry Hall and Kingsville areas.
At about 3:30 p.m. on July 14, in the 9000 block of Carlisle Avenue in Perry Hall, two teenage boys reportedly walked into a yard and stole a bicycle. One of the boys was seen riding the bicycle, valued at $200, up the street, according to a police report.
Between 6 a.m. on July 8 and 2 p.m. on July 13, in the 7700 block of Chapman Road in Kingsville, a suspect entered a home through a bathroom window and stole five necklaces, valued at $350, a police report showed.
Between sometime on July 4 and 12 p.m. on July 10, in the 7600 block of Bradshaw Road in Kingsville, $780 in cash was taken from a barn, $60 in quarters was taken from a house and multiple power tools were taken from a basement, according to a police report.
Officers believe a person familiar with the barn and house area may have stolen the property. The victim reported that up to 200 people have visited the area in recent weeks.
Investigations into each of the incidents are ongoing. Police do not believe any of them are connected at this time, according to Lt. Ron Brooks of the White Marsh precinct.
Brooks encouraged residents to keep windows and doors locked whenever possible and to report suspicious activity by calling 911 immediately.

Does that mean the police think up to 200 people broke into this property? Huh?

I hope this clarifies. I've updated it to say: "Officers believe a person familiar with the barn and house area may have stolen the property. The victim reported that up to 200 people have visited the area in recent weeks."

Or does it mean that they are running some sort of illegal business? Please give us the actual address, not the usual "7600 block". There are a dozn houes in this block.

Hi Mike, we generally do not list the specific names or addresses of victims, as it would likely discourage victims from reporting crimes. Police had no further details on why the property had received around 200 visitors recently.

Two teenage boys should be easy to find. They are everywhere during the afternoon in the summer. I am assuming they are two foot tall, green skin, red eyes and silver space suits?
How about this police department: Stop being PC and give us some descriptions to keep an eye for. Example: (White, Hispanic, Black) (13/14 or 18/19 years old) (where they taller or shorter) (long hair or short hair) (blonde, brown or black hair) its a lot easier to find a perp when we know what we are to look for.

I believe the police are referring to the 4th of July Parade. The crowd it has brought in that visited the area in recent weeks.

There is a horse farm in that area, they do riding lessons, most likely have a lot of people visiting the farm.

This is crazy. In 35 years i have never heard of crime like this in Kingsville. I hate to think what it is going to take for the Police to actively patrol the area. I understand the importance of radar on Bel Air Road, however I do not believe it needs to be there as much as it is. I saw a patrol car circling the lots at the Gunpowder River, has there been crime there recently?
Maybe we need to get those pretty blue lights that have the cameras on them like they have in high crime areas of the city. It seems that maybe the only way t deter these crimes.
I really think it is time for the Police to send somehting to the community. There are still a number or residents in Kingsville,Perry Hall and White Marsh that are unaware these crimes are taking place. It has not been on he news or anything.
