A 75-year-old Perry Hall man was struck by a vehicle at Maryland Route 43 and Perry Hall Boulevard Saturday afternoon.
At about 1:20 p.m., Ezzat Aziz Dimitry of the 4000 block of Macworth Place began walking across White Marsh Boulevard at the Perry Hall Boulevard intersection. He was then struck by a 2007 Nissan Sentra traveling eastbound on White Marsh Boulevard, said Baltimore County police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher.
Dimitry was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with severe injuries. The driver, a 51-year-old Middle River woman, remained on the scene after the accident, Rogers-Feher said.
Police do not believe the driver was at fault in the accident as Dimitry was not using a crosswalk at the time he was struck. No one has been charged in the incident, she said.
