While Ogle, Dani Knights, Hayley Orrantia and Cari Fletcher originally competed as solo artists, they were given the option to remain in the competition as a group and be mentored by pop star and talent judge Paula Abdul.
Out of thousands who originally auditioned for the show, the group made it to the final nine contenders. The girls were eliminated Wednesday night along with 60-year-old singer Leroy Bell.
"This is, by far, your best performance to date," said judge Simon Cowell.
"You've proven to me that the sky is the limit," said Abdul.
In spite of the judges' praise, however, the group received the lowest number of votes following the show.
"I want it more than anything. When you know you have this person inside you, you're not happy doing anything else," she said in a video interview.
Ogle, a 2011 Perry Hall High graduate, gained a local following after winning the Bowley's Got Talent show last February. She also helped score high marks for Perry Hall High's varsity cheerleading team last October.
