Lisa Geiger, marketing manager of The Avenue at White Marsh, submitted the above photo of the shopping center driveway near Della Rose’s. The Ravens paint is in preparation for the Della Rose’s Rally in the Alley.
Geiger wrote the following description in an email to Patch:
It is paint—but, not permanent paint. The paint is similar to what Miss Utility would use to mark pavement. This is a test that we hope will prove to last at least a couple of weeks.
The photos are of the intersection by Della Rose’s and—weather permitting—a second graphic will be added to the intersection by Tilted Kilt Friday morning. The gentleman in the photo is a local artist named Jim Buckler. I cannot believe we got a break in the rain today to get this done! Our goal was to have the graphics in place by this Friday in conjunction with Purple Friday and Della Rose’s Rally in the Alley event. For years, we have illuminated the dome above A.C. Moore and Staples in purple, as well as the clock above Ulta to demonstrate our Ravens spirit. We will continue with that tradition this year … but, I thought this would be a nice addition! Our customers seem to love it.
