UPDATE (May 8, 11:39 p.m.)—
Police are investigating three business burglaries that occurred early Monday morning.
Between 2:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. on May 7, burglars broke the front glass doors of Domino's and Dry Clean 4 Less, adjacent businesses in the 8600 block of Belair Road. Both businesses were entered and cash was stolen from the dry cleaning business. Nothing else was taken, according to Officer Mark Dorsey of the Parkville precinct.
Also on May 7, between 2:55 a.m. and 3:05 a.m., burglars broke the front glass door to Deniro's in the 9600 block of Belair Road and stole cash, according to a police report.
An investigation into each of the burglaries is ongoing, Dorsey said.
Deniro's and adjacent business Liquor World also suffered significant damage during a burglary in February 2012, according to a Patch report. A window to the Domino's was also broken in October 2011, but nothing was taken, Patch reported.
"They didn't get much, but I don't really know what else we can do here. We've upped security," said Leo Kapetanakos, manager of DeNiro's. "I'm really disappointed. It's getting old."
"We've been here 10 years and never had a problem with this. It's sad to see it in this neighborhood," Kapetanakos said.
