Police: Kingsville Burglary Likely Connected to Others

A home burglary reported on Feb. 20 was similar to other recent burglaries in Perry Hall and Kingsville.

Police are continuing their investigation of a home burglary in Kingsville on Feb. 20.

Between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in the 6800 block of New Cut Road, near Sunshine Avenue and Harford Road, a home's side door was kicked in and two bedrooms were ransacked, according to a police report.

Jewelry boxes and drawers appeared to have been searched, but the homeowner did not report anything stolen, the report showed.

Investigators believe the break-in is likely connected to other recent burglaries in the area, said Officer Mark Dorsey of the Parkville police precinct.

Over the past three months, Patch has reported on more than two dozen home burglaries in Perry Hall and Kingsville.

Between 9:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Feb. 20, another home burglary was reported in Perry Hall along Bangart Avenue. During that burglary, a side glass door was broken, a bedroom was ransacked and jewelry boxes were dumped out, but nothing was reported taken.

No additional home burglaries have been reported in the Perry Hall, White Marsh and Kingsville areas in more than a week, according to police at the White Marsh and Parkville police precincts.

They will be back or another crew will take there place. I cannot understand why no home owner has not gotten a picture or video of the suspects yet. With the low cost of security cameras there should be more in use. There are many models under $100 including the game cameras used by hunters that will take a picture of anyone coming around the outside of your house.
