Police: Kingsville Independence Day Parade Road Closures
Officers plan to provide traffic support during the Fourth of July celebration.
Prepare now for road closures, heavy foot traffic and potential delays near area parade routes, police said.
Starting at 9:45 a.m. on July 4, officers at the White Marsh police precinct plan to close the following roads along the Kingsville Independence Day Parade route:
- Bradshaw Road between Jerusalem Road and Kingtop Drive
- Jerusalem Road between Bradshaw Road and Chapman Road
- Goettner Road
- Cedar Lane between Goettner Road and Chapman Road
- Chapman Road between Jerusalem Road and Cedar Lane
- Bellvue Avenue
About 10-15 officers are scheduled to manage the closures, that will likely continue until about noon, according to Cpl. Pat Wilhelm, the precinct traffic supervisor.
Wilhelm urged anyone attempting to cross Belair Road to exercise caution and cross only in designated areas.
"Be patient with traffic and watch for small children or any other pedestrians in the road," he said.
