Police: Masked Man Robs Perry Hall KFC Registers
Workers reported the robbery at the Belair Road restaurant on the morning of Jan. 28.
A masked man robbed the Perry Hall Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant, Baltimore County police said.
At about 11:17 a.m. on Jan. 28, in the 9100 block of Belair Road, a man, appearing to have a weapon under his shirt, entered the restaurant and motioned for the manager to open the cash register. The manager initially did not understand the man's request. He then said he wouldn't hurt her, but forcefully demanded money from both cash registers, according to Officer Mark Dorsey of the Parkville police precinct.
The man then ran from the store with an undetermined amount of cash, and headed eastbound across Belair Road, Dorsey said.
The manager described the suspect as a white male, 25-35 years old, 5-foot 10, a large build, 250 pounds, and wearing a black ski mask, a black jacket, a grey hooded sweatshirt and dark pants, according to Dorsey.
The police department's robbery unit is continuing their investigation, he said.

I think I remember reading that it is the policy of the "Patch" NOT to mention race!!
I seem to recall several situations where the total description was ' man wearing a dark coat'.....or something similar.
I must then presume that when no race is mentioned that the perp is black,or blue, or pink, or not known!! Correct!
What is the policy of the PATCH?? Thanks!

I guess its more important to be politically correct then to give a proper description of a criminal to protect the community.

If the race is known, give it! Policy? Really? I hope not.

They did originally. They said it was a white male. Must have been removed due to someone being afraid to include it, or the eyewitness since recanted or claimed he was no longer sure.

The issue here is not race, I don't care if the person is black, white, red, yellow, purple. Have any of you ever been in that situation because until you are, you have no idea how you are going to react or how much of a description you are going to be able to give the police!!! The fact is and the only concern should be that this is happening to close to home!!! You people have way too much time on your hands, find a hobby........you make no sense. @ Computer Techy....I agree!!!

My issue is......what is the policy of the PATCH?? If the race is known, then give it.
I know this article states the race, BUT previous articles have not. Has the policy changed??

What is all the discussion about race? Did any of you read the Artical? It says White Male. When I grew up that described race and sex. Did I miss something? Did something change?

Thank you Evets.
There is actually someone else in Perry Hall that can read, and not just spouting out wrong facts
