Police Searching for Perry Hall Double-Burglary Suspect
A homeowner confronted a suspected burglar Tuesday afternoon on Ramblebrook Road near East Joppa Road.
Police have requested the public's help in locating a man suspected of breaking into two Perry Hall homes late Tuesday morning and afternoon.
At around noon, a homeowner on the 9300 block of Ramblebrook Road confronted a man who had broken into the home, according to Lt. Ron Brooks of the White Marsh police precinct.
The homeowner described him as a white male between 40 and 50 years old, about 200 pounds and wearing a blue jacket, Brooks said. The man left the house and drove away in a four-door white pickup truck with a roof rack.
The suspect is believed to be connected to a second burglary committed in the late morning on the 9000 block of Gardenia Road. No further details were available on that burglary as of late Tuesday afternoon, Brooks said.
Police believe the burglaries are connected mainly because of the shared timeframe and proximity, he said. The Ramblebrook Road and Gardenia Road burglaries occurred just yards away from each other in connected neighborhoods along East Joppa Road.
Anyone with information about the suspect or other recent break-ins is encouraged to call the precinct at 410-887-5000, Brooks said.
Police are investigating whether the suspect is connected to other home burglaries reported in the Perry Hall area since last month, he said.
Residents should be on the lookout for unfamiliar people or vehicles traveling up and down streets or people cutting through backyards, precinct Capt. Michael Balog told Patch earlier this month.
"When you see something suspicious, something that just doesn't look right in the neighborhood, call us. There is no non-emergency number so call 911," Balog said.

Don't be a victim ! Call the police over anyhting suspicious. Leave lights on at night. Leave a radio turned up loud during the day, consider a dog, consider a sercurity system. Look out for your neighbors.

I live right near Ramblebrook; pretty scary! But...I bet the thief's getaway would be slowed quite a bit with our large tube TV. Purple Heart will not even take those dinosaurs, so maybe our lack of advanced technology will act as a deterrent :)

When you see people you don't know or look suspicious, always make direct eye contact - this will let them know you can identify them, if needed.

I hope they post a sketch of the person. He probably is not working alone because at his size he would never have made it through basement windows.

Call the police whenever you spot something or someone that does not belong. A co-worker spotted a car on his street early this morning that seemed out of place and called 911. The police sent a squad car very quickly to investigate. It ended up being sherriffs in an unmarked car, but better safe than sorry.
