Psychic Predicts 'Prosperity and Peace' for Perry Hall

Alice Barrington shared her predictions for the community in 2012.

Operating her shop at 8725 Belair Road since 1983, Alice Barrington has watched Perry Hall transition through good times and bad.

But what does the psychic spiritual adviser of Tarot Card Reading by Ms. Barrington predict for the community in 2012?

"I predict prosperity and peace for Perry Hall," she said. "There will be growth."

Barrington said she foresees positive developments for the economy.

"It has been and will still be improving, not just for Perry Hall, but for everywhere," she added.

Do you think Perry Hall will have a positive 2012? Tell us your predictions in the comments.

how convenient. I guess she figured a negative prediction would produce catcalls of "She's a quack", "Who believes this tripe anyway", and "Who are the suckers that buy into this anyway?"

Guess what? I'm still saying it :)

Here, I'll make a prediction too. Your future is what you make it.
There see, and I didn't need a deck of picture cards to come up with this.

Wow, must be a slow news day. Why would there be a news article on the Patch about a con-artist's prediction of the future, along with pictures of the business and her address? Great advertising! I am sure their are lots of legitimate businesses that could provide a good story and could use some free publicity. In fact, that would be a good daily or weekly piece for the site. Definitely a way to get the Patch out to the community while promoting local businesses. But a Psychic? Oh, and I would take the job.

Wow, must be nice appointing yourself as the arbiter of what constitutes a 'legitimate' business. Is this woman breaking any laws? I run past that place almost daily and I have never seen her out on Belair Road forcing people to come to her office. If she is a con artist, then people are choosing to be conned.

And just for the record, Ms Kimball regularly provides stories (or 'free advertising') on businesses in Perry Hall. I would assume that all are legitimate (i.e.: meet zoning regs, have a business license, pay taxes, etc.).

I also predict happiness and prosperity for Perry Hall residents in 2012, and beyond.

Hope all have a safe and joyful New Year's weekend.

I think it is a positive, fun story from someone right in the community!

I don't have a problem with Emily. I just don't believe in people who say that can tell the future and then charge people for their scam.

Don't be so quick to judge. If you have not had an opportunity to sit down with Alice, I would strongly suggest that you do. Some people were given gifts and she is definitely one of them!

Alice is amazing! Paul and Tim-Really??? Why does someone have to be a "quack" or a con-artist just because you are uncomfortable. Open your mind or close your mouth. Those are the only 2 options I "see".
