Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta admitted that he had never heard of Perry Hall before appearing at Bill Bateman's Friday night.
"Now that you've experienced Perry Hall, can we say that you're impressed?" asked Glenn Clark, host of WNST.net, during a live radio show at the restaurant.
"Absolutely, I definitely think that I'll be coming back to Perry Hall in the future," Pitta told a crowd of fans.
The show and autograph signing doubled as a fundraiser for the Living Classrooms Foundation.
Clark reminisced about his own hometown roots during the show.
"I'm a proud alum of Perry Hall High School. I was once noted on Wikipedia as a distinguished alum of Perry Hall High School," he said with a laugh.
Owner of WNST.net Nestor Aparicio said the community was a "great stronghold of listeners."

So happy that Mr. Pitta is impressed by Perry Hall. Wonder what he saw of it besides Belair Road and the inside of Bill Bateman's?
BTW, I am a Perry Hall resident, WNST listener, and GO STEELERS!

Anne - Housing is certainly lesss expensive in the Pittsburgh area than it is here. You get much more value for your money, and the slump in home values did not hit the Pittsburgh areas as hard as it did some other metro areas.
If you are considering a move to the Pittsburgh area, I would be happy to recommend some fine neighborhoods. It has been more than 20 years since I lived there, but I still visit often.

LOL, talk about a non-story here.
What did anyone expect him to say? Perry Hall sucks?
