Readers' Choice: Brian Bunce Barbers Wins Perry Hall's Best Kids' Haircut
Readers voted for their favorite place to get kids' haircuts.
UPDATE (1 p.m., March 23)—More than 50 readers voted for their favorite place to get haircuts for the kids.
And the winner is ...
Brian Bunce Barbers at 8905 Belair Rd. in the Perry Hall Square Shopping Center. With TVs at every cutting station and a special fire truck chair for the littlest customers, owner Brian Bunce said he has tailored his business specifically to kids.
"We also hire people who are patient with kids," Bunce said. "Kids will stick with you. You could cut their hair for a long time—20 years."
Readers had plenty of positive things to say about the barber shop in the comments of the contest.
"I have 3 boys and I've never been disappointed at Brian Bunce's. I'm bald BUT IF I HAD HAIR I would too go to Brian Bunce's. Lol," wrote Tom I.
The shop is for girls too, according to Cathy: "I also higly recommend Brian Bunce. We've used several barbers there and my son always looks great. They also have a young lady working there and she is the only person I trust to cut my daughter's hair."
And don't forget what blogger Jackie McTear wrote about the shop back in February in her post, REVIEW: 3 Thumbs Up for Perry Hall Barber.
Congrats, Brian Bunce Barbers!
Be sure to tune in next week when we search for Perry Hall's best sandwiches. The poll begins at 5 a.m. on Monday.

UPDATE (9 a.m., March 23)—Voting is now closed. We're counting up the results! Watch to find out the winner at noon today.

UPDATE (5 a.m., March 19)—Save the facials, cocktails and waxes for the grown-ups. Your kids don't need the full salon treatment—they just need a haircut.
Fortunately, Perry Hall has no stortage of salons and barber shops catering to your little one's locks. Take our poll to help decide which business does it best.

My daughter's hair looks so beautiful when she has it done at Bella Tresse Salon. The stylists there are top notch & down to earth and the atmosphere is set to a family appropriate tone. I consider theirs to be services of the higher-end - but without the smug and pricey attitude. And I wouldnt call it a "Kid Salon" either. Not in the same sense that one would consider Cartoon Cuts to be a kid salon... but would you take your "tween" to Cartoon Cuts? And is she still a kid at 13? Bella Tress is perfect.

The girls at Salon 8736 did a wonderful job making my 4 1/2 year old daughter's first haircut a wonderful experience. No tears or tantrums. And for only $15, she had the full treatment including a shampoo, cut, blowdry and style and tinsels clipped in. I would have paid double! She was so happy and we will definitely go back!

the barbers at Brian Bunce are great with kids, my 2 year screams the entire time and throws a fit, it takes both arms and legs to hold him down, and they still manage to do a fantastic job and do not get aggrevated or upset, all of them are great!!!
