Teens Beaten, Robbed in Dunfield Neighborhood
Police believe the Tuesday robbery in the Fullerton and Perry Hall area was targeted.

A street robbery left two teenagers beaten in a Dunfield Road neighborhood in the Fullerton and Perry Hall area Tuesday night, police said.
At about 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 4, at the corner of Kinwall Place and Kinfield Drive, two 17-year-old males were approached by a vehicle with five teenage males inside. Three of the teenagers left the vehicle and began beating the 17-year-olds. One was punched in the back of the head and fell to the ground. A pair of Nike shoes was then stolen from one of the victims, according to Officer Mark Dorsey of the Parkville police precinct.
Police are following possible leads. Some of the suspects were acquaintances of the victims and investigators believe the attack was targeted, Dorsey said.

Section 8. Dunfield/Belmont have always been trashy. Perry Hall used to be the country when I moved there 30 yrs ago. Going downhill fast. People may as well stay in Dundalk.

I lived in Dunfield in the 90s, worked full time and went to college. My building and neighbors were nice and clean. I paid well over $400 for my apartment not including utilities and could sit outside at night or go for walks. So I think you are exaggerating. My family were already living in Perry Hall and it was not "country". There were plenty of shopping centers, schools and shopping then too and they moved there in the mid 80s, almost 30 years ago.

I lived in Dunfield in the early 90s. It was a nice place then, neighbors talked to each other, we decorated for Xmas, etc. Don't know what exactly it is like now, but does sound too inviting.

Perry Hall was more or less country 30 years ago. But not like 50 years ago. Certainly, in general most things were better 30 years ago not just in Perry Hall but in general. We would have thought someone from the future with a virtual farm on FarmVille, trusting Wikipedia as encyclopedia, talking with friends on chat and SMS were insane.
But none of this relates to what with this attack. Police...even 30 years ago treated teen violence and crime without seriousness. I was 15.. my bike was stolen.. I was told by the police ''that happens a lot'' and no report filed. 3 other bikes stolen several days later and vandalized properties. No police interest. Parents raised bad children..now police must find culprits and send them to jail and send a message.
