On a field still muddy from a wet weekend, the Gators pounded out a decisive 45-6 win against Woodlawn High School on Monday night.
The Perry Hall High School homecoming game was originally scheduled for Friday night, following a highly attended parade and community tailgate party. A sudden storm and tornado warning, however, flooded the field and evacuated the stadium before play began.
Monday night's win was the team's fourth consecutive win.
"We've got some momentum but we've got our two toughest opponents coming up in Franklin and Hereford. We're going in with some confidence though so it should be a game," said Coach Keith Robinson.
