The whole situation is stupid. The overreaction to a benign little celebratory dance and the overreaction by the principal, which I am pleased he reversed. I think we've all seen a lot worse than what the kids did after they won at other games. Seriously. Perry Hall is an exceptional school. Its foundation is built from years of outstanding academic and community tradition. Thousands of students and alumni are out in the world doing wonderful things, which should be highlighted. I am a very proud graduate, and I'm proud of the soccer teams and other teams, organizations, band, and academics continuing in Perry Hall's rich tradition and community spirit.

Let the kids have this moment. You only go through HS once. After that, many years of work where more people could care less what happens. Let them have this moment. What else would we read about anyway around here?Next year will be something else.

Well... I'd like to read about why I was awoken to cops hovering over my house in their ghetto bird at 1:16 am on Thursday morning... Who were they looking for, what had they done, and did they eventually apprehend anybody? But I guess the Bernie Dance is provocating stuff.

Emily's just milking this for all it's worth. What I'm fascinated by, is the fact it's not really been mentioned that the regional finals is against Westminster on Tuesday evening at 7 or 8 - I don't recall now (as I can't attend anyway). It is mentioned in the Blake article in passing, but honestly, that's not good enough.

I had to read the fishwrap to find out for myself the time and location. That's sad.

Maybe a little bit less patting yourself on the back for doing what you're supposed to be doing, and actually treating the current story for what it is. This is now yesterday's news, so to speak - except for the fact they are now one of the final 8 teams playing in the State, and the "elite 8" match is coming up tomorrow night (by the time most of you read this).

If she really wanted to do something meaningful at this point, she could look into developing some sort of preview for the game - you know, because that'd actually be worthwhile news at this point

    Dear Perry Hall readers,
We'll be back to coverage as usual this week. When you have a big news item, you have to see it through. To keep things in perspective, keep in mind that we wrote a similar number of stories related to Perry Hall's string of armed robberies just last week. We have an exciting week of new news to come, I promise!

Perry Halls Coach Pete is a real stand up guy and would never premote a vigilant action toward the opposing team, win or lose. I stand behind the decision to let the boys continue in the finals, GO PERRY HALL.

what abou the persians who complained abou the dance? am I ther only one who has found out ? (that the only reason coch wnated to cancel the season) over a muslim religious belief, is tis true? (that what I read) separatiojn of church and states should preclude any relgious faith from dictating or influencing the public schools............ besides a whole lot more constitutional law I could offer, aam I the on ly one with the intestinal fortitude to stand up to these fanatics?
