this will guarantee a trip to the grocery store for most people for their BMT: bread, milk, toilet paper.

Call me pessimistic...but it seems like most times the "sky is falling" forecasts don't pan out. Snow it October falls into the "sky is falling" predictions, so I am not expecting much! (Although I would love to see a nice snow fall!)

Biggest issue will be accumulation on/in the tree canopy that is left. The winds from the storms in September caught the tree canopy and caused most of the damage / power outages when the winds shifted 180 degrees on the trees in rain soaked ground. Roads could get tricky Saturday night.

Well at least it might slow down the crime. They don't like the snow or rain when they're crimin'!!!

we're getting a whopping 1-3 inches of snow, and in classic style, Baltimore is freaking out. Thousands in un-necessary sanding/salting will I'm sure be wasted on this "weather event".
This is a non-issue. If you can't drive in it because you fail at driving, then it's simple: don't drive. It'll melt quickly enough, if it sticks at all.
