On any given day, YoTwist Frozen Yogurt and Treats along Ebenezer Road offers about 12 different flavors of frozen yogurt and 45 toppings.
You do the math—that's a lot of choices.
YoTwist, which opened this month, is the latest business to fill a Perry Hall Square Shopping Center vacancy. A martial arts school also recently launched in the center, and an auto parts store and Giant Food are planned.
"We thought that a yogurt shop was needed in this area. It's a healthier, non-fat option," said owner Mei Shi.
"They say it's good," Shi said.
Customer Steven Kahl, 12, said his yogurt was "better than ice-cream," and he appreciated the shop's board game selection.
Beyond yogurt, the shop also offers fruit and boba tea-based smoothies with chewy tapioca starch balls at the bottom. Snow-yos, a mix of frozen yogurt and shaved ice, are also on the menu.
