A few minor, scattered power outages remain in the Perry Hall area, a Baltimore Gas and Electric Company map shows.

Power outages, downed trees and other property damage were caused by a severe storm that tore across Maryland on the night of Friday, June 29.

The clean-up process continued into Monday.

Mary Ann Banes, a Kilkenny Circle resident, watched as a large tree was removed from off of her neighbor's house. The downed tree caused a stir in the quiet neighborhood near Perry Hall High School.

"My husband watched it happen. It just bent right over onto the house," Banes told Patch on Saturday. "I'm just glad everyone's OK."

The Perry Hall Family Center Y opened its showers to community members, free of charge, over the weekend. Gov. Martin O'Malley issued a statement asking neighbors and family members to help those displaced or without power following the storm.
