BLOG: Demand Maryland Casino Pink Slips

Query the point.  Why did Maryland offer it's casinos to the highest bidder instead of giving them to us?  Why are we getting a percentage instead of the whole thing?  Why isn't Perryville the We Are Building Better Schools Casino?  Arundel Mills should be the Our Roads And Bridges Are Falling Apart Casino.  Do the people in Nevada still pay no State tax?  If so I want that too.

Are we going to wait until infrastructure totally collapses but we have iphone 12's?  Evitt's in western Maryland becomes, Maryland Fix Our Infrastruture Before We Are In Chaos Casino.  How about changing Ocean Downs to the 1000 Square Foot Garden In Every School In Maryland Casino?  1,424 schools, that's 1,424,000, a 32 acre farm teaching our children how to grow their own food again, like our grandparents did.

Let me tell you what we are going to get, a huge headache and no one being able to give an accurate breakdown of where the money went.  How much has been spent on question 7 so far?  Never paid for a comercial at just about every break on both radio and television, I imagine that must $100 a shot, at least, or so.  Remember both sides, including multiple participants are doing ads, so the cash is piling up, fast.  I'm glad we passed a law that unlimited money can go to issues, it made things so much better.

Andy,
...where the money went? Why of course, it went to improve our schools! Everything goes to improve our schools! It seems to me that our schools didn't need anywhere near the influx of money 40 years ago that they seem to need today. Baltimore City must be the best performing school system in the entire nation for all of the lottery money and tax earmarks. Or maybe there is more to good schools than just throwing money at them. Anyway, if you want to get a bill passed, just scream about the lost $ for schools if it doesn't pass and that should do the trick.

Exactly Paul, I think Baltimore city is up to 32% graduation! Let loose the cry "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN" and watch the coin roll in.
