So, for my first blog post on PH Patch (thanks Emily, for asking me to do this) I think I will take the time to share my views on this Mega Millions winner from Baltimore County that we are so obsessed with finding.
I actually think I can some it up in two words ... WHO CARES?!
- I consider it a "win" that our county got the winning ticket. I honestly don't care who it is, I mean, except if it were me, a family member, or a super cool friend who likes to share—but other than that—we really did all win just by having it occur so close to home. Guess who gets to collect the taxes on that one? Yup, our state and county. Now, WHERE that money goes and HOW it is used is for another day. But we did win. I'm glad the money is staying in Maryland.
- This woman who "claims" she won just wants attention—so stop feeding into it. Show us the ticket or move along. We have better things to do (like talk about Opening Day and the one month we follow baseball in Baltimore) with our time.
Feel free to leave your thoughts. Blogs are interactive. A few rules though: EVERYONE has a voice, EVERYONE should be heard and NO ONE is louder than the "delete button," so keep it clean, PH Patch, and I'll check in later this week.

Nice Start Billy! I second the "who cares" attitude as it has become a circus. Had I won, no one would ever know except the family and cool friends I would have shared it with. In actuality, I did have a winning ticket for the drawing matching 3 numbers and promptly spending my winnings on Burger Cookies.......YUM

I can't wait to hear her story when she goes to get the ticket she "hid" in the McDonalds. I bet that's the cleanest McDonalds anywhere around by now!
