It’s time to remind everyone that you must be registered in order to vote in the primary elections which will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. You need to be registered by March 13.
The Voter Registration Form may be downloaded here: http://www.elections.state.md.us/voter_registration/documents/2011_English_Internet_VRA.pdf
Also, if you are unable to vote on April 3, primary day here in Maryland, you may vote early March 24-29 at the three regional centers.
Early voter information for the primary elections may be found here: http://www.elections.state.md.us/voting/documents/Presidential_2012_Primary_Flier.pdf
Are you planning to vote in the primaries? Tell us in the comments.
You may also vote by absentee ballot, but you need to download the form and get that in to the Board of Elections no later than March 27, 2012. Find the Absentee Ballot Application here: http://www.elections.state.md.us/voting/documents/2012_Absentee_Ballot_Application_English.pdf

Just remember that Maryland primary elections are closed to registered party members only. That means only Democrats can vote in the Democrat Primary and only Republicans can vote in the Republican Primary. If you register as an independent or any other party except Democrat or Republican you will not be able to vote in the Primary Election on April 3rd.
