Design Refresh Projects at White Marsh Mall

The amazing interior and exterior design enhancements are moving full speed ahead at White Marsh Mall!

From the new entrance signs to the updated lighting and fresh paint inside, it’s looking better every day.  I wanted to share some of the recent refresh photos, courtesy of Woods Construction.  Also attached is a photo of the great “Helping Hands” display in the Food Court. As mentioned in our post on July 11th, the children who attended Family Fun Day this week made colorful handprint pictures to help decorate our Food Court during the construction process. The display looks great, don’t you think?

By the end of August, construction will be wrapped up and soon after that we’ll unveil the all new Boscov’s department store! You’ll also find that some retailers have a few updates around our beautiful Food Court.

And be sure to enter our new online sweepstakes. To enter, you just need to “LIKE” the White Marsh Mall Facebook page.  Once you do, you can click on the tab at the top of the page and fill out a quick and easy entry form.  The best part? You can enter once every day to increase your odds of winning! Be sure to tell your friends too. Who knows, maybe they’ll pick something up for you if they win!

I’ll have more photos for you next week and make sure you check back often for the latest information on our improvements.

EXPERIENCE WHAT’S NEW AT WHITE MARSH MALL!  For a complete listing of events, sales and to enter the sweepstakes, visit White Marsh Mall’s Facebook page by clicking HERE!

I agree Tim that signage looks so 70's.

Put the "Helping Hands" display on the outside of the building - it looks much better.

Also, apparently they have no plans on bringing the full sized Merry-Go-round back for the kids. Apparently you have to go visit Failbook to get any answers from Jessica here.

We used that Merry-Go-Round area for my child's party - the kids loved riding the Merry-Go Round and we ordered food from a business right there. Now, gone.

Jessica. Is it true that White Marsh Mall (you) told the Perry Hall Housing Association that the Perry Hall/ White Marsh Fair could Not be held in the parking lot of White Marsh Mall?

If you did say no to the Fair; why does the mall allow yearly carnivals, traveling circuses, Vans tours, and other events in the empty lots?

Also if you said no; why does White Marsh Mall choose not to support its community and businesses?

This should be good. Of course, I wouldn't expect an answer. This appears to be a one way street.

@Other Tim posted on the "Impact of Town Fair New Location" that the PHWMBA business address is Rosedale, MD.

I appreciate everyone's continued interest in White Marsh Mall. The Center has been a integral member of the White Marsh community for more than 30 years and has always supported business and non profit organizations throughout the area. I would like to put to rest the mis-information being discussed in this post. White Marsh Mall's current management staff has never been approached by the Perry Hall/White Marsh Business Association to host the fair or have any further involvement this year other than the donation of a raffle prize, which we were happy to do. We are always willing and open to participating in events that will benefit our community in a positive way.

Oh look, more confirmation Lynn Richardson is lying to us. This is great.

These were Lynn Richardson's exact words both on a personal blog and news blog on the Patch:

"Dear Neighbors-The Perry Hall/White Marsh Business Association is not a bunch of dumb clucks who woke up one day and decided to "take away" the Town Fair from Perry Hall. For all of you who wonder-every (and I mean EVERY) other location was considered. They all said NO. Period. The end. While there are a lot of factors, which none of you have considered, that naturally eliminated some possibilities, it was the Baltimore County School restrictions and policies of the property owners/managers in this and the surrounding neighborhoods that negated our ability to remain in the immediate area. It is also not so much about space requirements, but safety, traffic and guest experience. Even if the Town Fair was 1/3 of its current size, there would still not be a place to have the fair in Perry Hall. I invite all of you to give these property owners a call to discover the roadblocks we encountered. The Town Fair is a free event planned by your neighbors, friends and associates. It takes over 100 people to do it. I'll bet you know many of them. I hope this helps you understand the whys and wherefores and I would invite you to come to the fair for an excellent experience."

WOW! Doesn't sound like she tried White Marsh Mall, I guess they don't count?

Jessica - what exactly is your position with the Mall administration/organization?
I just wanted to give some context to your comments, that's all.

I feel an email to the PHWMBA is needed for further understanding to their position on mis-leading their constituents.
