Baltimore County Small Business Resource Center
Every week is special. In May alone, there is National Summer Safety Week, National Nursing Week, National Road Safety Week, National Sun Awareness Week, and Aboriginal Awareness Week, just for starters.
May 21-25 is a week that impacts every one of us: National Small Business Week. Over 94% of all Baltimore County businesses have fewer than 50 employees -- that's over 19,600 companies. This week, and every week for the past 30 years, the Baltimore County Small Business Resource Center (SBRC) supports small business entrepreneurs with information and resources that help them succeed.
Counselors at the SBRC provides direct assistance through individual small business counseling on start-up issues such as business and marketing plan development. The Center also provides MBE /WBE certification and loan package preparation assistance. Free small business start-up workshops are offered in partnership with the County’s Workforce Centers, public libraries, and Chambers of Commerce.
The Baltimore County Small Business Resource Center is a partnership between the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce and the Baltimore County Department of Economic Development. For more information call 410-825-6200 or visit www.baltimorecountymd.gov/business
